You will have the opportunity to visit one or all of the historical museums & memorial sites of Pearl Harbor. The Historical sites include USS Arizona Memorial, USS Bowfin Submarine, USS Missouri Battleship, & Pacific Aviation Museum depending on the package you choose. Trips to Pearl Harbor are available from Oahu, Maui, Big Island, & Kauai.

Pearl Harbor Program

The USS Arizona Memorial runs a 75 minutes interpretive program, every 15 minutes starting at 7:30 am with the last program ending at 3:00pm.

The interpretive program consists of:

  • 23 minute documentary film on the actual attack
  • 20 minute boat ride to and from the memorial
  • 15 minutes at the memorial
  • Time to explore the museums and exhibits
Pearl Harbor Tickets & Admissions

The National Park service has 3500 tickets available per day. They are distributed freely at a first come basis, and often by mid morning. Due to the popularity of the monument, visitors should expect large crowds and long lines, especially during summer, winter holidays, and spring break. We recommend you reserve ahead of time.

Public Transportation

It is possible to visit Pearl Harbor by taking a city bus from Kuhio Ave. or the Ala Moana Shopping Center. It generally takes the city bus to reach the harbor between an hour and hour and half, depending on traffic. Despite the fact that Oahu public services are pretty efficient, keep in mind the bus makes several stops before reaching its destination.

Pearl Harbor Historic Sites On-Site Transportation

There is a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm between Ford Island and the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Allow 30 minutes for round trip shuttle ride. This shuttles is the only way for visitors not holding a valid USA military to visit the USS Misouri, the Pacific Aviation Museun and the USS Oklahoma Memorial.

Pearl Harbor Visitor Center Parking

Parking lots can be full on busy days and it could be hard to find parking spaces. Please plan according. Please park before unloading.

Locked and secured and do not leave valuables in your car. There are cars brake-in despite that fact that there are federal law enforcement officers and security bike patrols monitoring the parking facilities The National Park Service cannot be held responsible for any items that may be stolen from your cars or any broken windows.
