Boy am I glad that we didn't drive ourselves! Jonathan was a great driver and even better tour guide! We really enjoyed seeing the area between the winery and Hana. Lunch surpassed all expectations. I was on Maui two years ago and drove to Hana in my rental car. The experience was OK although I wished I hadn't done it because I spent all the time concentrating on the driving and not the scenery. This September I returned to Maui on my honeymoon and wanted my new wife to see what I think is the most beautiful part of Maui. Your road to Hana tour had been recommended to me by a coworker who took it last year, so we booked it. The experience was a hundred times better than when I drove it myself. Our driver was Glen and he really new Maui. We stopped at all the best places and he kept us entertained all the way. I'm writing this comment to let you know how happy we were with the whole experience. I also wanted to take the time to let everyone who reads this know that this is the best tour on Maui they can take. I've been to Bali, Thailand and all over Mexico and nothing compares to the beauty of the road to Hana. If you are reading this and thinking oh I'll just drive myself" DON'T. Really, you will spend all your time driving and not seeing. The road to Hana tour guide knows all the best places to stop. We even saw waterfalls I missed when I drove myself.
